Trinity Christian took down Immanuel Christian 71-20 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Trinity Christian made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 588 from 725. The improvement was largely due to a 71-20 victory over the Warriors last week.
Azle Christian's Joey Rosamond and Jake Bartell led TCAF District 3 (6 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. 5-7 quarterback Rosamond has thrown for 2,125 yards this season, while Bartell has 63 catches for 1,129 yards. Community Christian's Isaiah Brazeal leads the league in rushing yards with 969.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Azle Christian takes on second place Trinity Christian. Last week, the Fighting Crusaders topped the Warriors, while Jeff Anderson's team defeated Immanuel Christian.
Levi Knowles of the Community Christian is just 95 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 103 carries Knowles has put up 905 yards this year.
Fans will be treated to a premier battle in the secondary when Azle Christian's Bartell goes up against Trinity Christian's Geren Rangel.
The Fighting Crusaders' offense has scored 457 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while Trinity Christian has allowed only 257 on the year.
Next week's game between Azle Christian and Trinity Christian will feature an aerial matchup as Rosamond tests his arm against Rangel's defensive ability.
