Basketball Recap: Novi Christian Academy Comes Up Short

If Novi Christian Academy was riding high fresh off their 60-39 takedown of Pontiac Academy for Excellence last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Novi Christian Academy Warriors came up short against Everest Collegiate on Wednesday, falling 68-46. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 578th in Michigan, while Everest Collegiate are ranked 120th in Michigan).

Novi Christian Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season. The victory (which was Everest Collegiate's 16th in a row) raised their record to 23-1.

As of now, neither Novi Christian Academy nor Everest Collegiate have any future games scheduled.
