Baseball Recap: Marksville Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Caldwell Parish, Marksville was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out Oberlin 4-3. This was payback for Marksville, who suffered a 6-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Marksville's victory bumped their record up to 3-15. As for Oberlin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Marksville Tigers duke it out with Saline Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Marksville will need to watch out since Saline has now posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups. As for Oberlin, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 20-5 defeat against DeQuincy on the 21st.
