Volleyball Recap: Sunset Takes a Loss

If Sunset was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Southridge on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Apollos lost 3-0 to the Jesuit Crusaders on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Sunset now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Jesuit, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That lines up perfectly with their 16-4 record this season.

Sunset wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Mountainside on the 14th. As for Jesuit, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Central Catholic on the 11th.
