Volleyball Recap: West Memphis Blue Devils vs. Nettleton Raiders

West Memphis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Nettleton Raiders, falling 3-0. If the Blue Devils were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Raiders when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While West Memphis ultimately came up short, they really made Nettleton work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 26-24, 25-15.

Nettleton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kennedy Massey, who had nine digs and four aces. That's the most aces Massey has posted since back in September of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kylie Deaton, who had 12 assists and five digs.

West Memphis' loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Nettleton, with the win, they broke their eight-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-8.
