Softball Recap: Everett Extends Winning Streak to Three

Everett entered their tilt with Chelsea on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Red Devils 22-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-2 two weeks ago.

Everett pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 21.3 runs over those games. As for Chelsea, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Everett will head out to face off against Lynn Classical at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Chelsea, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Excel Academy Charter at 3:30 p.m.
