Volleyball Recap: Pompano Beach Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Pompano Beach lost against Western back in September of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Golden Tornadoes fell 3-1 to the Wildcats. The Golden Tornadoes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-27, 25-14, 25-21.

Leading Western to victory were Sarah Perez (Ojeda) and Avery Williamson. Perez (Ojeda) had 11 digs and five aces, while Williamson had 12 digs and 11 assists. What's more, Perez (Ojeda) posted four assists, the most she's had since back in October of 2024.

Pompano Beach now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Western, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Pompano Beach has already played their next contest (against Monarch), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Western, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Cardinal Gibbons on the 28th.
