Basketball Recap: High Plains Takes a Loss

High Plains entered their contest against East Butler on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The High Plains Storm had to suffer through a 56-26 loss at the hands of the East Butler Tigers. The matchup marked the Storm's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

High Plains' defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for East Butler, their win bumped their record up to 18-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Cross County the next time they take the court. High Plains will head out to face Cross County at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, while East Butler will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
