Baseball Recap: Pendleton Heights Arabians vs. Mt. Vernon Marauders

With a playoff game on the line, Pendleton Heights rose to the challenge on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Mt. Vernon Marauders 4-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Pendleton Heights.

Brayden Stevenson tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.
