Mid-Peninsula lost to Apostles Lutheran back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Mid-Peninsula Dragons took down the Apostles Lutheran Falcons 69-52. The Dragons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Apostles Lutheran still got an impressive performance from Jeremy Bork, who dropped a double-double on 35 points and 16 boards. The dominant performance gave Bork a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Kwak, who posted eight points and eight rebounds.

Mid-Peninsula now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Apostles Lutheran, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Mid-Peninsula will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Oceana at 5:30 p.m. Oceana will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Mid-Peninsula surely won't give up without a fight. After both having extra time off, Apostles Lutheran and Calvary Christian Academy will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
