Softball Recap: William Byrd Terriers vs. Staunton River Golden Eagles

William Byrd extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 3-8 in the process. They took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Staunton River Golden Eagles. The Terriers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Golden Eagles from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

As for Staunton River, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. 11 seems to be a good number for they as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.
