Basketball Recap: Salmon River Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven + How To Watch

Salmon River won the last time they faced Nezperce and things went their way on Friday too. The Savages walked away with a 58-50 win over the Nighthawks. That's two games straight that the Savages have won by exactly eight points.

Leading Salmon River to victory were Poppy Harper and Rylee Walters. Harper almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds, while Walters posted 19 points. Harper is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Cheyanne Case, who scored six points.

Nezperce's loss came despite strong showings from Avery Lux and Helen Wilcox. Lux went 9-for-19 to rack up 21 points along with five assists and five steals, while Wilcox shot 47% from the field en route to 15 points in addition to six boards and three steals. Lux continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Kairys Grant was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.
