Basketball Recap: Durant Comes Up Short

After flying high against Madill on Thursday, Durant came back down to earth. The Durant Lions took a 51-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ardmore Tigers. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Durant's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Ardmore, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

Durant wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 57-54 defeat against Kingston on the 25th. As for Ardmore, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-38 loss against Idabel on the 25th.
