Basketball Recap: Highland Baptist Christian Comes Up Short

Highland Baptist Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-58 heartbreaker at the hands of the Westminster Christian Academy Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-26 last Saturday.

Highland Baptist Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-21. As for Westminster Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-16.

Highland Baptist Christian has already played their next match, a 61-18 loss against Ascension Episcopal on the 14th. As for Westminster Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 69-45 victory against Gueydan on the 14th.
