Pope's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Sprayberry by a score of 2-0. Pope haven't had any issues with Sprayberry recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Lassiter got the win against Creekview on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. Lassiter might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by three goals or more this season.

Pope's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Lassiter, their win bumped their record up to 12-1.
