Baseball Recap: Glenn Snaps 14-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Glenn came out on top against Wayne Memorial on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Rockets walked away with a 6-3 win over the Zebras. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-7 on Monday.

Glenn's victory ended a 14-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-16. As for Wayne Memorial, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glenn will face off against Dearborn at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pioneers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.86 runs per game on average), something the Rockets will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Wayne Memorial, they will take on Salem at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
