Volleyball Game Preview: South Granville Vikings vs. Louisburg Warriors

The South Granville Vikings will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Louisburg Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South Granville will be strutting in after a win while Louisburg will be coming in after a defeat.

South Granville is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Oxford Prep. The Vikings came out on top against the Griffins by a score of 3-1 on Monday.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16, 20-25, 25-23.

Larah Preddy and Tatum Currin were among the main playmakers for South Granville as the former had 12 digs and four aces and the latter had seven digs and three aces. Those 12 digs gave Preddy a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Louisburg unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to Falls Lake on Tuesday.

While Louisburg was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-12, 25-15.
