Football Recap: Jones County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Jones County was riding high fresh off their 34-12 takedown of Veterans last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Greyhounds fell 20-16 to the Woodland Wolfpack on Friday. The Greyhounds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolfpack apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Cason Taylor threw for 112 yards on six of 15 attempts. Jr Clark was his top target, picking up 53 receiving yards. On the ground, Travis Miller rushed for 75 yards.

Brayden Rogers went supernova For Woodland., rushing for 189 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 189 rushing yards gave Rogers a new career-high. Courey Bryan helped out on the ground, rushing for 108 yards.

Jones County's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Woodland, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
