Football Game Preview: Colton vs. Santiam

Colton will challenge Santiam on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. The odds don't look promising for Colton, but the bigger the opponent is, the harder they fall.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 6-43, which was the final score in Colton's tilt against Burns last Friday.

Meanwhile, Santiam were averaging 47.5 points per game entering their contest last Friday, but they just couldn't find their rhythm against Sheridan. Santiam took a 0-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sheridan. The low total for Santiam limited their streak of high-flying scores to four in a row.

With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
