Basketball Recap: Johnstown Falls Short of Voorheesville in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Johnstown can now relate to. They lost 62-38 to the Voorheesville Blackbirds on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blackbirds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-41 back in December of 2024.

With the loss, Johnstown broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-7. As for Voorheesville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.
