Basketball Recap: Whitewater Comes Up Short

Whitewater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were dealt a 54-17 defeat at the hands of the LaGrange Grangers. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 46-18 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Whitewater's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for LaGrange, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Trinity Christian the next time they take the court. LaGrange will head out to face Trinity Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Whitewater will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
