Football Recap: North Medford Comes Up Short

North Medford extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-5. They fell 17-6 to the Wilsonville Wildcats. The contest marked the Black Tornado's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

As for Wilsonville, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.5 points over those games.

Trevor Glos continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 80 yards and one touchdown, while also throwing for 167 yards and one TD. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards. 85 of Glos' passing yards were hauled in by Keona Tam, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. North Medford will head out to square off against Willamette at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wilsonville, they will venture away from home to face off against Canby at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.8 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
