Recap: Milford Eagles vs. Fairfield Indians

The Milford Eagles put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Fairfield 41-15. The result was nothing new for Milford, who have now won seven contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

Milford had a senior duo take command as Nathan Webster rushed for 215 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.0 yards per carry and Ashton Warther rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. Warther was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 69 yards.

Milford's win was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 11-0. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-10 Walnut Hills and 1-9 Little Miami (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 34.7% over those games). As for Fairfield, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Milford will square off against Mason at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mason will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 104th, while Milford is ranked tenth). Fairfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
