Morgan Park Academy had already won 14 in a row and they went ahead and made it 15 on Friday. They came out on top against the Unity Christian Academy Phoenix by a score of 2-0.

Morgan Park Academy easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-16.

Morgan Park Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Annabella Arevalos, who had four aces and two blocks. That's the most aces Arevalos has posted over her last six contests.

Arevalos wasn't the only good servers: Morgan Park Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive matchups.

Morgan Park Academy's win bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Unity Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Morgan Park Academy and Unity Christian Academy are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Warriors will welcome Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Unity Christian Academy, they will face off against Dwight at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th.
