Volleyball Recap: Ascension Episcopal Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

If Ascension Episcopal was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of New Iberia on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Ascension Episcopal took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the E.D. White Cardinals on Thursday. Ascension Episcopal was not able to make up for their defeat to E.D. White from their previous meeting back in September of 2019.

Ascension Episcopal's loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 21-10. As for E.D. White, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, Ascension Episcopal and E.D. White will both be playing Assumption the next time they take the court. E.D. White will host Assumption at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Ascension Episcopal will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
