Baseball Recap: Huss Comes Up Short

Huss was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 21-3 to the South Point Red Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in March.

Huss' loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for South Point, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Huss is set to take on their familiar foe Forestview at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, South Point will square off against rival Crest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Red Raiders 3.1, the Chargers 2.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
