Basketball Recap: Oldenburg Academy Takes a Loss

Oldenburg Academy lost against Hauser back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Oldenburg Academy Twisters took a blow against the Hauser Jets, falling 68-34. The Twisters were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-11.

It was another big night for Collin Buck, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds for Hauser. Those 11 boards gave Buck a new career-high. Stryker Gill was another key player, putting up three points along with 13 assists and three steals.

Oldenburg Academy's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Hauser, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2.

Oldenburg Academy will welcome Jac-Cen-Del at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hauser, they will head out to square off against South Decatur at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hauser knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully South Decatur likes a good challenge.
