It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Pace ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Milton Panthers 5-4. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Pace's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Milton, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-2 record.

Coming up, Pace will challenge T.R. Miller at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Milton, they will head out on the road to square off against Tate at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Milton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.
