Recap: Tabernacle Christian Eagles vs. Heartland Christian Saints
The Tabernacle Christian Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by Heartland Christian at home and fell 55-27. Tabernacle Christian has struggled against the Saints recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Heartland Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sawyer Koffer led the charge by scoring 17 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Clemens, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds.
Tabernacle Christian has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Heartland Christian, they pushed their record up to 16-6 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
