Soccer Recap: Payson Comes Up Short

Payson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to the Uintah Utes. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Payson couldn't quite close it out.

Payson's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Uintah, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7.

Payson didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-0 defeat against Mountain View on the 22nd. As for Uintah, they have also already played their next game, a 7-3 victory against Juan Diego Catholic on the 21st.
