Football Recap: Hart Longhorns vs. West Texas T Tornadoes
Hart took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They blew past the West Texas T Tornadoes, posting a 46-0 victory.
Tradien Worsham had a dynamite game, rushing for 224 yards and four scores on only seven carries, while also picking up 64 receiving yards and one touchdown. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up two sacks and making two total tackles. Another rusher making a difference was Yael Soltero, who rushed for 91 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Hart was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 315 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Texas T only rushed for 97 rushing yards.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Hart's defense and their four sacks. In that department, Worsham was the leader with two.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hart will venture away from home to square off against Amarillo FFC at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Texas T, they will head out to face off against Meadow at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
