Soccer Recap: Langtree Charter Academy Takes a Loss

Langtree Charter Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Lincoln Charter Eagles, falling 10-0. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in May of 2023.

Langtree Charter Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lincoln Charter, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Langtree Charter Academy will square off against Mountain Island Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Langtree Charter Academy has given up an average of 9.4 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Lincoln Charter, they will face off against Pine Lake Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lincoln Charter is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.9 goals per game this season.
