There's no place like home for Waverly/South Shore, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They strolled past the Langford Lions with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 63-48. The Coyotes haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Langford's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kassen Keough, who went 10-for-16 en route to 26 points. Keough's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Conner Glines, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten boards.

Waverly/South Shore's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Langford, their loss was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-17.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Waverly/South Shore will face off against Warner on Tuesday. Waverly/South Shore has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Langford, they will challenge Hitchcock-Tulare on Monday. Langford will be up against Hitchcock-Tulare's rather soft defense (which has allowed 57.35 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
