Charter Oak strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Covina Colts as they made off with a 13-3 win. The Chargers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

Leila Diebert made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double.

In other batting news, Charter Oak got a massive performance out of Lyla Caston, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Caston has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times she's played. Jazmyn Johnson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Charter Oak was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .484. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matches.

Charter Oak's victory was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-0. As for Covina, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12-1 record this season.
