Basketball Game Preview: Land O' Lakes Gators vs. Gaither Cowboys

The Land O' Lakes Gators and the Gaither Cowboys will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Land O' Lakes' tournament run continued when they took on Berkeley Prep on Thursday. Land O' Lakes took a hard 52-37 fall against Berkeley Prep.

Meanwhile, Gaither came up short against Weeki Wachee on Thursday and fell 33-26.

Land O' Lakes has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Gaither, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Everything came up roses for Land O' Lakes against Gaither in their previous matchup back in January of 2022, as the squad secured a 44-12 victory. Will Land O' Lakes repeat their success, or does Gaither have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
