Softball Recap: Badin Rams vs. Talawanda Brave

After a string of five wins, Badin's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They lost 7-1 to the Talawanda Brave. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Badin of the 9-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

Emily O'Brien was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with a home run.

On Talawanda's side, McKenna Weekley was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Weekley was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
