AZ Compass Prep National waltzed into their game on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Maricopa Institute of Technology Iron Eagles.

Sebastian Quiroz was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

AZ Compass Prep National's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. As for Maricopa Institute of Technology, their loss dropped their record down to 1-2-2.

Looking ahead, AZ Compass Prep National will head out on the road to face off against Alta Vista at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Maricopa Institute of Technology, they will host Heritage Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Heroes will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Iron Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
