Football Recap: Parker Takes a Loss

Parker entered their contest against Chamberlain on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Pheasants took a 24-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cubs. If the Pheasants were looking for revenge after losing 22-0 to the Cubs when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Parker's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Chamberlain, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Parker will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Chamberlain, they will be playing at home against Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blackhawks' defense has only allowed 5.7 points per game this season, so the Cubs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
