Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Glen Rock). Everything went their way against the Manchester Regional Falcons on Monday as they made off with an 18-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won five contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Glen Rock got a massive performance out of Nick Atme, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that Atme has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Lagemann, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Glen Rock was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .320 or higher in five consecutive games.

Glen Rock's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Manchester Regional, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glen Rock will venture away from home to challenge Millburn at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers are facing the Millers at the right time seeing as the Millers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Manchester Regional, they will head out to square off against Harrison at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
