Volleyball Game Preview: Lincoln Lions vs. Willow Glen Rams

Lincoln is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will look to defend their home court against the Willow Glen Rams at 7:00 p.m. Lincoln is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Last Thursday, Lincoln came up short against Yerba Buena and fell 3-1.

Lincoln started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Willow Glen came up short against Live Oak on Thursday, falling 3-0.

While Willow Glen was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23, 25-16.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Willow Glen, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything went Lincoln's way against Willow Glen in their previous matchup back in March of 2023, as Lincoln made off with a 3-0 win. Will Lincoln repeat their success, or does Willow Glen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
