Basketball Recap: Flint Hill Takes Down Ranked Potomac School

On Saturday, Flint Hill faced Potomac School in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Flint Hill Huskies strolled past the Potomac School Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 63-46. The victory was some much needed relief for the Huskies as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Flint Hill pushed their record up to 9-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.3 points per game. As for Potomac School, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Flint Hill will square off against Saint James at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Flint Hill knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 contests -- so hopefully Saint James likes a good challenge.
