Basketball Recap: Zionsville Comes Up Short at Home Against Carmel

Zionsville unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 35-28 to the Carmel Greyhounds on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Preston Jounson, who posted four points. Another player making a difference was Camden Moore, who earned nine points and five rebounds.

Zionsville has already played their next matchup, a 53-48 win against Ben Davis on the 29th. As for Carmel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 51-44 defeat against Deerfield on the 29th.
