            Softball Preview: Shoreland Lutheran Pacers vs. Kenosha Tremper Trojans        
        
		
        
        
            The Shoreland Lutheran Pacers will venture away from home to  square off against the Kenosha Tremper Trojans  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Shoreland Lutheran has given up an average of 8.6  runs per game this season, but Monday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Shoreland Lutheran fell victim to Mayville and their airtight pitching crew  on Tuesday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (15-0), but sadly  the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The  contest marked the first time this year in which they were not able to get on the board.
Meanwhile, Kenosha Tremper had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  4-2  win over the Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Trojans have posted  since April 3rd.
Kenosha Tremper got a great performance from  Hannah Holmes as she  pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   five  hits.
 At the plate,  Vivian Meier was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI and one  run.
 Kenosha Tremper now  has a winning record of 8-7. As for Shoreland Lutheran, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 12-6.
 Shoreland Lutheran might still be hurting after the  12-3 defeat they got from Kenosha Tremper  when the teams last played  back in May of 2023. Can the Pacers avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
