The Blue Devils were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Cowboys. Considering Grosse Pointe South's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The victory got Grosse Pointe South back to even at 8-8-2. As for Western International, they moved to 7-7 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
