Recap: South Central Satellites vs. Tri-Township Tigers
After a string of nine wins, the South Central Satellites's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They received a tough blow as they fell 43-29 to Tri-Township. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points South Central has scored all season.
South Central's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sadie Marks, who scored 12 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Samantha Marks, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
South Central struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
South Central's defeat dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Tri-Township, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-1.
South Central won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Westville at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th. Westville is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. As for Tri-Township, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against South Central at 7:00 p.m.
