Dynamic duo of Carlos Duran and Spencer Coup lead Solomon to victory

The Solomon Gorillas scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They put the hurt on Canton-Galva with a sharp 73-52 win. With that win, Solomon brought their scoring average up to 50.3 points per game.
Leading Solomon to victory were Carlos Duran and Spencer Coup. Duran scored 19 points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Coup dropped a double-double on 23 points and 15 rebounds. Coup has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last six times he's played. Logan Hammersmith was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Solomon now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Canton-Galva, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Solomon will take on Moundridge at TBD on Thursday. Moundridge presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Solomon in Kansas (Moundridge is ranked 14th, while Solomon is ranked 151st). Canton-Galva will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Herington at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th.
