Volleyball Recap: Waverly Comes Up Short

Waverly lost against Haslett back in October of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Vikings.

Waverly's offense was headlined by Londyn Smith and Tamara Richardson, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Kalina Fast and her 14 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Waverly's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Haslett, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Waverly didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Varsity Opponent on the 6th. As for Haslett, they will take on St. Johns at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Vikings' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
