Isabella Mendizabal was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Keeland Moore also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Saint Stephen's Episcopal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Seffner Christian, falling 13-4.

Clearwater Central Catholic's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-11. As for Saint Stephen's Episcopal, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Everything went Clearwater Central Catholic's way against Saint Stephen's Episcopal in their previous matchup back in March, as Clearwater Central Catholic made off with a 12-5 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Marauders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
