Basketball Game Preview: Northside Patriots vs. Central Lions

The Northside Patriots will venture away from home to challenge the Central Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Northside took a loss when they played away from home back in December of 2024, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They rang in the new year with a 38-30 win over Mundy's Mill.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Central challenged Jonesboro on Tuesday. Central walked away with a 44-36 victory over Jonesboro.

Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Northside, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.
