Staunton kept a clean sheet against Alleghany on Thursday. They blew past the Mountaineers 8-0. Considering Staunton have won four matchups by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the third in a row for Staunton, bringing their record up to 6-4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those three matches. As for Alleghany, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Staunton and Alleghany will both be playing Waynesboro the next time they take the pitch. The Mountaineers will head out to face the Little Giants at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Storm will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
